3rd Weekly Meeting of Information System Research Group on March, 6th 2015

On March 6th 2015, the research group of Information Systems held their third annual meeting. As determined in the previous meeting Ismiarta Aknuranda and Rizal Setya Perdana had to present their ideas and knowledge in this meeting.

Ismiarta was the first one who shared some knowledge in this meeting about Use Case Modeling as originally proposed by Ivar Jacobson, and explained well by Kurt Bittner and Ian Spence. He mentioned that this style focused on the purpose/goals. Use Case Modeling itself has many styles and standards, but this discussion was focused on the Jacobson style that was later adopted in Rational Unified Process (RUP). These differences sometimes lead to unequal knowledge received by many people or students of Informatics. Because the discussions among members were so exciting, the presentation of the other member was rescheduled for the next meeting.
